Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the design department. The ideal candidate will oversee the technical office's day-to-day operations, ensuring that the design team functions efficiently and meets project deadlines. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of technical drawing and design software.
As the Technical Manager, you will manage a team of 12 people and report directly to the General Director. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth collaboration between departments and maintaining a cooperative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
You will coordinate the technical design process using software such as SolidWorks, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standard. Your role will involve managing resources, overseeing technical specifications, and maintaining a demanding yet cooperative pace within the team. You will also play a key part in strategic planning, improving workflow efficiency, and supporting overall project goals.
Qualifications:The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, with at least three years of experience in a similar role. You must be proficient in technical drawing and have a solid command of Technical-industrial design. Additional experiences include Leadership skills, Management of projects and people, Proficiency in English or German is essential due to the nature of our work and client interactions.
