Job Description
Our partner is looking for an experienced JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js to join their new development centre. The primary focus of the selected candidate would be on developing user interface components implementing and executing them following well-known React.js workflows. Also ensuring that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to manage. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are important.

Responsibilities / Key accountabilities
- Developing the latest user-facing features using React.js
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Learn and understand user interactions.
- Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
- Working with product management in reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components optimized for maximum performance using React concepts across web-capable devices and browsers.
- Work with other members of the team to leverage your skills.
- Write, audit, and improve our partner’s test coverage.
Skills and experience
- React JS coding skills front end apps.
- Good knowledge of ES6+ and/or Typescript.
- Ability to write high performance, reusable and testable code using Jest, Mocha etc.
- Experience with RESTful API’s, GraphQL is a plus.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Good English language both verbal and written.
Desirable
- UI Design experience.
- German speaking language knowledge.
- Financial markets experience.
