QA Engineer

Our partner is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help us keep growing as the leading Security Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR) company. The TIP Group helps customers automate their Cyber Security operations using over 200 integrations developed and maintained by TIP product managers, QA engineers and developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Create test data for manual, automation or performance projects
  • Execute manual (requirements analysis, test plan creation, test case creation and test case execution, regression/functional testing) and automated test cases
  • Perform tests and record the respective results in test reports
  • Create documentation, select appropriate testing techniques and methods necessary for product validation, according to requirements
  • Help growing/extending the test infrastructure and automate recurring tasks

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in QA field
  • Passion for technology and Information Security
  • General knowledge of networking, network protocols, enterprise architecture, network security systems/products and other platform components
  • General experience, in approaches to securing corporate and production infrastructure
  • General knowledge of IT Security best practices and standards
  • Understanding of information security concepts
  • General knowledge of diverse infrastructure technologies
  • Experience working with Public/Private Cloud environments
  • Solid know-how in scripting, especially Python and Bash
  • Solid know-how in Linux, Windows
  • Experience of working in an agile testing environment
  • Experienced in logging and tracking defects using issue tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Able to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills, with proven ability to investigate complex issues and make informed decisions when written guidelines are not available
  • Able to estimate time to complete tasks based on stories / requirements
  • Versatility to adapt test plans/tasks if project circumstances change
  • Ability to work with a low level of supervision, and can be relied upon to deliver good quality results by agreed deadline
  • Understanding and experience with the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to work creatively, accurately and be self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a remote environment
  • Ability to evaluate and select control technologies/methodologies and monitor their effectiveness in relation to the platform
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong QA skills: planning, exploratory testing, defect reporting and troubleshooting
  • Fluent in English
