Job Summary
Our client is an international industrial manufacturing group. For its production site in Oradea, they are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager. You will be the link between the plant and the group's central Infrastructure, Applications and Security teams, helping ensure reliable, secure and efficient IT services with minimal disruption to business and production operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main interface between the plant and central IT teams, turning local needs into clear, prioritised demand
- Coordinate local I&O activities covering networks, servers, backup, workplace technology, Microsoft 365, Azure, user support and production-related IT/OT systems
- Coordinate local support resources and collaborate with central infrastructure teams in a matrix organisation
- Support incident, problem, change and service management, with a strong focus on operational continuity
- Contribute to local and group-wide infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations and digitalisation initiatives
- Help ensure compliance with group policies, ISO 27001:2022 controls, NIS2 obligations, security standards and audit requirements
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery readiness, vendor coordination, asset management, documentation and service reporting
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiency across the site
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Solid knowledge of networking, servers, virtualisation, storage, backup, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory and cybersecurity principles
- Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes, including incident, problem and change management
- Experience supporting infrastructure services, workplace technologies and business-critical systems
- Ability to coordinate local IT activities, vendors and infrastructure-related projects
- Fluent Romanian and English
Nice to have
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or production environment
- Exposure to Operational Technology, IT/OT environments or manufacturing systems
