Our partner was launched in 2002 as the world’s first lottery messenger site, facilitating online lottery ticket purchases for customers around the world. During its first 14 years of operation the company gained extensive regulatory expertise in the lottery courier field and delivered prizes worth more than $50 million to various customers, including a multi-million dollar jackpot win.
Our partner offers a wide array of online lottery services and added value services, such as lottery syndicates and lottery bundles, made available in 15 languages and in multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, apps).
Offering about 50 lottery draws in some 25 countries world-wide, operations involves over 100 people in many countries, mainly in Malta and Israel.

As R&D Team Leader you will be responsible for building up an R&D team in Bucharest, managing the team and reporting to the management. As the team will grow gradually, you will also be involved operationally in development.
Reporting to an overseas manager of the international team, the role will offer a recognized expert the chance to develop and maintain software applications to support the world-wide game development process. You will work as part of a development team to deliver timely solutions and services to teams involved in the game development. As an advanced level team member, you will provide guidance and supervision to the other members on the team and provide third level user support and assistance in the administration of production services. You will lead and coordinate the most advanced initiatives of the team.
As R&D Team Leader you will first get familiar with our products, systems and processes in order to fully understand our business and learn how we deal with projects (development process, project management, tools etc.). Therefore a short training abroad taking part in different teams is foreseen.
Skills & experience
Must have:
A total of at least 5 years of experience is required (out of it Team management experience of at least 2 years) with profound knowledge in:
- C#
- ASP.Net
- MSSQL (SP, FN, ERD)
- Client Side Scripts (JS, JQuery)
- Design Patterns, OOP
Important to have:
- TFS
- Reporting Services
- SCRUM
- TDD / Unit Tests
- AngularJS
- Experience in the gaming e-commerce industry
