Job Summary
A cutting-edge IoT technology company, known for advanced energy efficiency and environmental control products, is seeking a Cloud/Development Team Support. The company is expanding its team to enhance its smart home solutions.
Main Duties
- The primary responsibility of this role is to investigate cloud logs, including app logs and API call logs, to determine if the root cause of issues lies within the app.
- The role also involves analyzing transactions between devices/gateways and the cloud to identify firmware-related problems.
- Understanding and investigating related problems within the IoT system is crucial.
- Additionally, the role includes acting as a mediator by managing tickets, researching issues, and assigning them to the appropriate technical team members.
Ensuring clarity and appropriate action on tickets is essential for improving the efficiency of issue resolution. - Understanding the exact issues reported by customers, asking relevant questions, and collecting useful information are key aspects of the job.
- A solid understanding of HVAC and Smart Home IoT systems and architecture is an advantage.
- The role involves working closely with the System Architect and other technical staff to enhance communication between departments and support the technical team’s efficiency and data needs.
Position Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Automations, Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- They should possess knowledge of Cloud Ops/DevOps, experience in app development and maintenance, and skills in firmware development and debugging.
- Familiarity with Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LAN, RF, AWS
- Monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana is required.
- The candidate should be curious, proactive, and capable of organizing and handling large amounts of data.
