What will you do?
In a dynamic networking environment, from simple radio link to complex multi-unit networks, you will need to investigate real-life scenarios, use info provided by their customers and support teams to decipher the condition that caused customer issues; the systems under test are wireless backhaul HW & SW systems.
- Work closely with the most skilled teams to recreate the scenario internally, debug and provide fixes.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for product or design changes or debug improvements.
- Define and write test plans and test procedures for reproducing customer bugs in lab.
- Build test setups using real units in a physical lab.
- Define and execute manual and automated tests.
- Record, investigate and analyze defects.
- Learn new features and products to keep
Must:
- 2 years' experience in testing networking/wireless elements.
- Abilities to troubleshoot faults and figure out the puzzle image when pieces are missing or distorted.
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering.
- Good English language skills in speaking and in writing.
Advantage:
- Familiar to packet generator tools (IXIA/Spirent/Xena/JDSU)
- Experience in microwave radio, modulation, error-proof data transmission.
- Experience in fields of telecommunication.
- Experience in Linux environment.
- Experience in writing and performing automatic tests.
