We seek an outstanding C++ Junior Software Engineer who will contribute to our low-latency algorithmic trading platform. You will be working closely with other software engineers and traders to implement and extend the different parts of the trading infrastructure including low-latency trade execution services, order management, exchange connections, back testing systems, risk management systems, calculation and modeling engines, compliance monitoring tools. We value the ability to learn new concepts and technologies just as much as previous work experience. Basic trading training and continuous education is provided for all engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to be successful.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required, students in final year are also considered
- C++ programming experience under Linux required
- OOP principles, basic algorithms, data structures, multi-threaded application
- Strong work ethic, communication skills, and ability to learn quickly
- Passion for designing, implementing, and owning solutions to exciting problems and an interest in working on a hands-on, performance-driven team, writing fast-executing code
- Willing to learn other programming languages e.g. Python, Javascript
