Position Summary:
Our partner is looking for a motivated Internal IT Systems Administrator to be a part of their team.

What you will do:
- Implement, test, and maintain internal IT systems and applications, and work to improve the overall experience for our partner’s employees;
- Automate user management and improve the onboarding/offboarding experience;
- Automate the management of user devices (laptops, phones, etc.), about 1500 and growing;
- Investigate and solve security incidents related to users and their devices;
- Build and maintain systems and procedures to ensure business continuity and quick disaster recovery;
- Follow and improve ITSM practices;
- Manage office networking equipment if needed;
- Administer various IT systems including Okta, Ivanti Neurons and MDM, Google Workspace, Slack, security tools, etc.;
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for corporate IT systems;
- Write documentation, establish procedures, and provide training as needed for the Tier 1 Service Desk team.
What do you need to succeed?
Our partner is looking for a senior. You should have good knowledge of most, but not necessarily all of the important skills, and some of the nice-to-have ones. You will learn together, but the position does require a productive level of knowledge.
Important skills:
- Good knowledge of Windows Desktop;
- Knowledge of MacOS or Linux;
- Good networking knowledge;
- Scripting in PowerShell and/or Unix shell;
- Active Directory / LDAP;
- Security-oriented mindset;
- Previous experience in a support position;
- 2+ years of experience doing user and device management in a medium-sized company.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with monitoring tools;
- Documentation writing;
- ITSM / ITIL (Service Now);
- Experience with Okta or similar;
- Device management at scale;
- Email server administration (Google Workspace);
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers;
- Security experience or training.
