Partenerul nostru is one of Ireland’s largest software development organisations and the company has been operating successfully in Cork city for the last 20 years. They have recently established a company in Cluj-Napoca and intends to grow it’s presence with talented software professionals that will collaborate closely with the development teams in Cork.

Partenerul nostru employs a wide range of technologies including Mobile (iOS, Android, Windows), Java SE/Java EE (WebLogic, WebSphere, Spring, Akka, Hibernate, GWT, etc.), Microsoft .NET (ASP.NET, C#, etc.), JavaScript (AngularJS, JQuery, dojo, etc.), various database management systems (MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, MySql, etc.). They provide consultancy and leading edge software solutions for a wide variety of US, EU and UK based clients in the insurance, healthcare, retail and public sector markets.

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer for a position at our development office in Cluj-Napoca. This will be a technically challenging position, working on a major enterprise application. The role will require constant interaction with other developers in the team and project management to develop and maintain a robust, scalable and performant system.

The successful candidate(s) for these roles will have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience in back-end and front-end Java EE technologies (Java, JPA, JSP, GWT, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot).

Responsibilities

Develop/Maintain multi-tier applications in Java
Develop front-end, service and data layer.
Develop unit tests, understand build systems and source code control (MVN, GIT)
Peer review of detailed designs, code and unit tests.
Bug fixing and enhancement implementation.
Production support
Adhere to and promote internal information security policies and procedures

Technical Profile

N-Tier application design and development
Spring, Hibernate, JPA, REST
Excellent knowledge of Java EE
Web development (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS 6+)
Web Service Development
Strong application process flow and problem-solving techniques
Ability to set and work to fixed deadlines
Good level of software engineering literacy and communication skills
Knowledge of design patterns

Atlassian suite (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crucible, Confluence)

Maven
Rules Engines knowledge particularly Drools
