About the role:
Our partner is looking for passionate and experienced PHP Developer to join their growing team, eager to use their skills in the development of modern and cutting-edge applications in the security field (banking & finance, law, medical, governmental).
As part of the Server team, you will be actively participating in the development of our partner’s award-wining product, along with other new products yet to be launched.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our partner's enterprise product with latest technology
- Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to determine the scope of new features
- Work on integrations with third party vendors
- Work in a x-team setup, including colleagues from the client/agent team, delivery and quality assurance, devops to develop & deliver most innovative features
- Maintain own development
- Provide active support for your developed features towards our technical support team & customers
- Be involved in application design meetings developed within the team
- Actively participating in architectural decisions regarding new features implementation and processes
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with development and programming
- You like to work both independently and in a team, you are sociable, flexible and resilient
- You have deep knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Previous experience with web technologies and standards such as Symfony/Laravel or similar OOP framework, Doctrine/other ORM, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, SASS/SCSS
- Competent understanding of RESTful API design patterns
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
- Focusing on security, performance and load balancing for the full application stack
- Familiarity with adoption and implementation of design patterns
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Team oriented working style with good communication skills
- Knowledge of English language (written and speaking)
Nice to have
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases is a plus
- Ubuntu LTS hands on experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Docker
