Responsibilities:

  • Manage, support, and monitor all technical aspects of our cloud hosted environments, including all related components and systems
  • Implement and maintain appropriate security standards across systems
  • Provide input and own a share in delivering against the technical roadmap
  • Develop and maintain documentation
  • Contribute to establishing processes and procedures and help maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for regulatory compliance
  • Provide support in the handling of emergency incidents when required
  • Keeps up to date on relevant technology and industry trends
  • Assist and provide guidance to other team members as needed
  • Assist Client Support team with technical support for clients, such as various DB reports or DB changes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience in GitHub
  • PostgreSQL advanced skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD methodologies
  • Understanding of the fundamentals required to build highly available and scalable services
  • Experience architecting, designing, and implementing infrastructure in a production environment
  • Experience in performance and capacity planning
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization, storage, networking, automation technologies, and multiple operating systems
  • Understanding of server hardware and virtual hardware, storage hardware, and datacenter topology and architecture
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to coach and/or train peers on technical matters
  • Must be detail-oriented, possess good communications skills and habits, and like to work in a highly transparent environment

Preferred (but Not Required) Experience:

  • AWS Developer, DevOps, or Cloud Practitioner certification
  • Experience with DevOps development processes/methodologies
  • Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Octopus
