The Engineering Manager is the end-to-end responsible for the engineering of our products by coordinating all the necessary activities, respecting the committed ETAs, delivery and quality metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives multiple product releases in partnership with product strategy
  • Establishes engineering practices and applies them consistently across his teams in order to deliver high-quality products
  • Acting as the leader of engineering within a business line
  • Responsible for people management, people growth, newcomers onboarding and employee experience for his respective business line
  • Leads by example, creating a healthy and professional people culture around him/ her, encouraging creativity, growing and inspiring others
  • Defines an accurate and fair resource allocation, based on impact analysis and proactive forecast timeline
  • Detects and mitigates release risk either directly or in collaboration with other strategic and operational role

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer sciences
  • 5-10 years of experience in Software Engineering
  • Experience in leadership roles in software development using scrum
  • Good conversational level of English
  • Capacity to promote teamwork and collaboration
  • Communication and presentation skills, ingenuity and creativity
  • Ability to understand detailed technical specifications
  • Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills
  • Determined and pragmatic attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies
  • Rigorous and methodical
  • Strong at hiring, onboarding and growing people
  • Experience in Fintech is considered a plus
