Job Summary
Final client: EU based, banking industry (audit, corporate finance, taxation, consulting)
Main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for leading the design and support of business intelligence applications and architecture using Microsoft SQL Server based technologies in a hybrid On-Premise and Azure Cloud environment
- Work closely with organization business users, IT and leadership to understand and prioritize the business requirements and data
- Solve complex technical problems
- Shape the strategy and optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by using design patterns
- Create testing methodology and criteria
- Develop and apply data governance standards, policies to all BI applications
- Develop data/information quality metrics
- Research new technologies and develop business cases to support enterprise wide business intelligence solutions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in delivering complete business intelligence solutions (PowerBI)
- Fluent in relational database concepts
- Strong problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Data Analysis, Reporting, and Dash boarding
- Familiarity with cloud technologies in one or more public cloud environments, especially in Azure
- Database technology: MS SQL Server, Oracle, SSAS
- ETL Technologies: SSIS, Data Factory
- Frontend BI Technology: Qlik Sense, SSRS, Analysis for Office (Power BI mandatory)
