The Systems and Network Administrator provides day-to-day hands on support to the organization’s end user laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices and applications. This position interfaces directly with internal customers and various departments, troubleshooting user desktop issues to resolution. Other areas of responsibility are LAN/Wireless support, software/hardware upgrades, patch management, Anti-Virus management, image management, application installs, user support and training, etc.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Laptop/desktop Deployments and Fixing (Windows and Mac)
  • Printer Deployments and Fixing
  • IT Equipment and Supplies Procurement
  • Hardware/Software installs and upgrades
  • User Support
  • Assist with IT Department documentation
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance
  • Network Infrastructure Support
  • Wireless Access Point Administration
  • Active Directory support
  • Android/iPhone device deployment and support
  • Windows / Microsoft Office Application Support
  • VPN Account Setup and Support (Cisco and Palo Alto)
  • Desktop Security
  • Antivirus Management and Support (McAfee Preferred)
  • Backup/Recovery corporate files and servers

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a related field or IT related degree and/or combination of directly related work experience commensurate to 3-5 years’ experience
  • Cisco and Brocade networking experience a plus
  • Wireless networking with Aruba or similar experience
  • Palo Alto Firewalls or similar experience
  • Desktop and Laptop repair
  • Active directory and Group Policy
  • Backup and Recovery
  • Apple product configuration and support
  • Linux experience (Ubuntu/Centos/Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
  • VMware virtualization
  • McAfee EPO deployment and management.
