Technical Tasks and Skills
- Very good experience in automation for cloud architectures (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform or Ansible. Especially in the development and lifecycle of Terraform modules.
- Very good experience in Policy-as-Code (e.g. Azure Policies) and rights management.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Solid practical experience with Microsoft Azure and are broadly positioned here (Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, databases, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, network, security,...)
- (Further) development of stable and future-proof cloud platforms. Design and implementation of cloud infrastructures according to project needs.
- Know-how in cloud-native architectures
- Responsibility for the conception and implementation of innovative architectures and software solutions
- Migration of services to the Azure platform
- Close, cross-team collaboration with developers and IT architects
- Planning and monitoring of the Microsoft Azure platform including deployed Azure services and resources
- Application and control of Azure Active Directory, Azure Role Based Access Control as well as Azure AD Privileged Identity Management
- Contact person for topics such as planning, rollout, and troubleshooting.
- Solid experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, alternatively Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
- Confident with infrastructure-as-code, e.g. Terraform
- Good knowledge of scripting languages, e.g. Powershell
- Active contribution towards further development of Corporate IT strategy
- Technical alignment of “Cloud roadmap” with IT strategy
Personal Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- Related IT and/or Service Management Certifications (preferred)
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with modern data engineering, integration, and modeling toolsets and languages
- Fluent English and German (C1 level) required.
- Self-motivated and proactive to perform work and continue learning.
- Distinct ability to work in a team.
- Team spirit and willingness to cooperate in an international team.
- Diligence and reliability, commitment, and team spirit as well as courage and responsibility
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiasm for agile working based on best-practice methods, e.g. Scrum
- Occasional travel to Germany may be required
