Our partner's purpose is to make Wi-Fi simple, fast and secure. They've modernized the process of providing Wi-Fi for businesses with an all-in-one platform to provide enterprise-grade Wi-Fi as a Service and Wi-Fi performance monitoring.
Their current data input is several million measurements each day, so optimizing the read/write data flow is paramount.
As a developer, you will be responsible for enhancing our current platform and REST APIs, managing integrations with WiFi providers like Aruba Central and Cisco/Meraki, optimizing our data flow, and managing their fleet of IoT WiFi devices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in back-end development with Java
- Minimum 3 years of experience in front-end development with any modern JavaScript framework
- Experience in:
- Designing, building, and deploying applications with Java 8+
- Spring or Netty frameworks
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience with Linux and Docker containers
- Experience with MySQL or MongoDB is a plus
- Self-starter with experience working in small teams
- Additional skills/experience desired: Agile / Kanban, Git, Containers, Security, Networks, Effective Communication
