The Mission:
As our Quality Assurance Engineer, your primary focus will be to drive our quality strategy to allow us to grow, maintain and scale our platform. To us, bringing you onboard will mean providing our users and stakeholders with high standards of quality, contributing to an amazing user experience.
You will work with the rest of your Scrum team, taking ownership of the testing processes and helping to define how the application works, and always ensuring the highest quality possible.
Our technical stack consists of ReactJS, Python 3.5+, Mapbox, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, FastAPI, and Flask, among many others. Our main focus is to be on top of the latest technologies and frameworks, in line with the demands of the
Industrial IoT sector.
Regarding our QA stack, we use QATouch, Cucumber Framework, Junit, and Postman, among others.
Responsibilities:
- Test current products and identify deficiencies
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
- Oversee continuous improvement projects
- Collect quality data and identify key KPIs for product quality
- Define and manage test cases/test runs and validate them
- Meet with the members of his/her team to agree on goals, review them quarterly, and give them constructive feedback
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, and other
- Must have experience with software QA tools and processes
- Desired experience with web security technology
- Experience with coding using Python, Javascript, or other languages is nice to have
- You're passionate about IoT & technical challenges
- Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities to resolve challenging situations
- Experience managing people: setting and following up on tasks, having periodic meetings, organizing work
- A good level of spoken and written English is required
