They empower enterprises, government agencies and IT services providers around the world to answer tough questions like - What data do they have and where does it live? - What should they migrate to the cloud and where? - How do they manage legal, compliance, and privacy risk? - How do they rapidly search petabytes of structured and unstructured data? - How do they get petabytes of human-generated data ready for AI and analytics?
They are looking for a creative DevOps Engineer with out-of-the-box ideas, a role that is part of a diverse team working on building their own product, with access to Microsoft’s latest technologies, and much more.
The role:
- Automating the Build and Delivery of software using CI/CD tools
- Automating infrastructure provisioning in cloud environments
- Building tools to automate the creation of Infrastructure as Code or Pipeline as Code templates
- Troubleshoot applications and infrastructure resources hosted in cloud environments
- Implement automation, effective monitoring, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- Develop, deploy, manage, and maintain CI/CD processes, code, agents, and pipelines for different types of applications and automate as many processes as possible
- Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies, in an Agile environment to support individuals on proper DevOps practice
- Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
- Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team
- Support development teams in technical questions of continuous integration/continuous delivery organizations
- Manage Linux environments, familiar with command line
Requirements:
- Scripting Languages (Bash, Perl, Python or PowerShell)
- Infrastructure as Code- CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, or similar
- Configuration management- Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar
- Version Control Tools - Git, GitHub, Azure Repos
- Virtualization, Containerization and Container Orchestration- Hyper-V or VMWare or similar, Docker, Kubernetes,
- CI/CD implementation
- Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar
- Experience in working in a cloud solutions provider like AWS, GCP, or nice to have Microsoft Azure
Operations:
- Good understanding of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Backup strategies
- Very good understanding of the production deployment and maintenance process
- Able to learn and troubleshoot development and production environments
