Our partner was created in response to the complex issues surrounding risk management. The designers recognized then that, to proactively measure and manage risk, it was necessary to determine the total exposure of a financial institution across all of its global activities.
Since then, our partner has helped transform the way Banks, Hedge Funds, Brokers, CCPs, and Stock Exchanges, measure their risk and manage their capital.
They are looking for an experienced full stack developer who is proficient with React.js to join their new development centre. The ideal candidate is someone who feels comfortable working with modern tools in a continuous development environment. Involved in full SDLC, the candidate will be required to design & develop web user interfaces and service endpoints using the latest technologies. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are important.

Responsibilities / Key accountabilities
Design & develop modern & highly responsive web-based user interfaces using React.js.
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Working with product management in reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
Enhance existing systems by analysing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Work with other members of the team to leverage your skills.
Write, audit, and improve our test coverage.
Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support to the existing and future systems.
Skills and experience
- At least 3+ years of experience with React.JS, Redux in designing and coding front end apps.
- TypeScript / JavaScript, ES6+, HTML/CSS.
- Ability to write high performance, reusable and testable code using Jest, Mocha etc.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in server-side programming using one of .NET Core /ASP.NET / Java / Ruby / Python / Node.js / C++ languages.
- Experience with RESTful API’s, GraphQL is a plus.
- Experience with relational, NoSQL or in-memory databases e.g., SQL Server, DynamoDB etc.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Good English language both verbal and written.
Desirable
UI Design experience.
Docker / Kubernetes / Microservices.
German speaking language knowledge.
Financial markets experience.
