Java Developer

You want to do long-term and continuous development of a scalable information retrieval system, and find this very interesting. Tasks and qualifications

You will be a part of our core development team with highly skilled IR, ML and Full Stack professionals. The team solves problems related to our information retrieval solution - scaling, crawling, searching and enriching data. Your job will consist of developing well tested, scalable and easily extendable code, and helping with maintaining the production environment. Optimally, you will be able to produce code in both backend and frontend of our platform, and participate in the planning of the architecture of the solution.

Key competence and skills

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, ICT or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Our code is mostly written in Java, Ruby, JS and Python. Some of the key technologies we use include Lucene, Maven, RoR, Ansible and Linux.

• Ability to code in Java
• Solid communication and collaboration skills, both in-person and in written form
• Ability to commit to the conventions of an agile development team
