Tasks
- Creating the test concept and test plan
- Defining test strategy and test approaches / test procedures to be used
- Conducting Risk Analysis
- Organizing and monitoring test activities
- Determining test measurements & metrics
- Creating the test evaluation report
- Ensuring that planned test activities are carried out
- Ensuring requirements / user stories are implemented in test cases and these can be used to check and validate requirements
- Reporting to project management/ product owner if error's detected
- Giving release recommendations for a product
- Ensuring the quality of test results
- Escalating in the event of quality deviations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology or an equivalent education
- Several years of professional experience in software testing and software engineering
- Previous work experience in automotive, multi-platform software testing or consumer device software testing
- Good knowledge and application of testing techniques and methodologies
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Previous professional experience in ADAS systems and AUTOSAR knowledge is considered a plus
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- ISTQB Test Manager Certification is considered a plus
- English language is mandatory and German language is considered a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
- Willingness to travel
