Thermo Fisher Scientific Sweden has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Lead.
This will work in the Software R&D Group, which today consists of 11 people, we are now looking for a Cyber Security Lead/Senior Software Engineer with a focus on security issues. You will lead product Cyber Security and PII/PHI-related activities within the Global Systems R&D Department. We currently work primarily in C # with Microsoft's latest development environments and tools. The group is responsible for software for managing Phadia Systems and evaluating test results in areas such as; instrument software, application software, web services, cloud services, and "app" development.
This position is based in Uppsala, where Thermo Fisher develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. With 1,900 employees worldwide working with these products, and 1,000 in Sweden, we are the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.

Duties:
- Responsible for and led development in the department of internal processes, tools, and working methods related to the properties of our products regarding Cyber Security and PII / PHI.
- Work together with key functions within Thermo Fisher regarding Cyber Security and PII / PHI.
- Development of specifications from customer requirements and internal requirements
- Design, implementation, testing, and verification of software
- Participate in design reviews and change management steering groups
- Conduct method development, business development, and improvement work
- Work with risk management and handling of complaints according to our quality systems
- Responsible for writing and updating technical documentation
- Participate in product care and 3rd line support to our customers worldwide
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- We are looking for you with a degree as a university or master's engineer in computer technology, electrical engineering, technical physics, or similar with a few years' work experience from the development of instrument software or operator software. This position requires many years of experience working with security issues / Cyber Security and experience of leading roles in development projects.
- A software implementation (mainly C# .NET)
- Experience in working with diagnostic instruments in life-science companies is an advantage. We also value knowledge in; risk management and development methodology.
- We develop software for diagnostic systems under strict regulatory requirements, so you should have great integrity and be good at documenting your work.
