Role Overview
Bring your contribution to the development of their financial market products (trading interface, trading algorithms). As a member of the Quality team, your goal is to ensure the quality and performance of their products from an Integration point of view.
Responsibilities
- Create, Update and Execute Manual (50%) and Automation (50%) Functional tests on an Integration platform (local/Client UAT)
- Communicate frequently with stakeholders (CS, Implementation, and Product Teams) in order to make sure that they are testing the relevant flows and improve the existing Test Cases suites
- Create, Maintain and Run (when necessary) an Automatic integration test suite (java /groovy)
- Run performance/benchmark campaigns
- Report defects based on "root-cause" analysis and follow up their lifecycle
The responsibility and autonomy level will depend on your level of expertise.
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manual testing
- Experience using automation (java/groovy)
- Bachelor Degree from a technical university or related field
- A general understanding of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures used within the software quality assurance field
- Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files
- Ability to think logically and methodically
- Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills
- Strong attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies (adaptable)
- Easy adaptable and be able to do context switching when needed.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks, Java, Groovy, Jira, Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, Linux commands, is a plus
- Other pluses include: a functional knowledge of the financial markets and experience in FIX protocol
