Role Description:
Our partner is searching for a QA Engineer to assess quality through manual testing. They are searching for a colleague that has exceptional attention to detail, is competent in creating and executing test plans, is involved in the debugging sessions along with the developers, and is passionate about quality.
Main responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications;
- Execute various testing types (functional, regression, smoke, etc);
- Report bugs and errors to development teams;
- Create test data, if needed;
- Work with cross-functional teammates to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle;
- Develop required test documentation and document results in reports;
- Developing and executing effective tests to ensure product’s stability and quality (both front-end and back-end);
- Provides guidance and support for junior engineers if needed;
- Participating in sprint planning meetings and daily standup meetings, working with, business analysts, project managers, and developers local and remote.
Requirements:
- Able to meet deadlines and objectives without constant management;
- Good eyes for details;
- Experience in using bug tracking tools (Jira);
- Familiar with the Backend and Frontend Testing Specifics (console, DB work, API testing);
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude;
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good organizational skills;
- Display strong work ethic and inspire trust and reliability in the team.
- Minimum 3 years of experience
Nice to have:
- Preferable Computer science/automation bachelor degree or similar;
- ISTQB certification.
