Our partner has over 30 years of experience in the field of digital software, serving clients worldwide and with offices in France, India, USA and Romania. Works with Java, PHP, .NET, iOS and Android technologies on complex web and mobile applications.
The local office opened in 2017, initially with the integration of specialists in other departments. At present, the aim is to establish a local R&D department, with the mission to migrate certain important projects to Romania.
We’re looking for an IT Manager to:
Help create and implement workload plans for their colleagues
Notice and define the difficulties and challenges each role goes through
Contribute and monitor the continuous learning and development of skills of the IT teams
Share the global vision with the local team and liaison between the French and Cluj office
Day-to-day business:
Helps to prioritize activities shared between the French and Cluj office
Understands and monitors the sprints.
Takes part in demos and retrospective meetings or when necessary, daily stand-ups.
- Acts as a liaison between the French and Romanian IT teams:
Mitigates any potential risks and misunderstandings
Provides constant updates on both ends
Monitors the pace and rhythm of projects developed in Cluj
Takes care of reporting and takes part in management meetings per business areas
Quality assurance:
Monitor the correct application of practices according to the field of activity
Provides support for the implementation of the organization's Quality Control process according to the domain (pairing management)
Quality reporting / Suggests mitigation plans when needed
Human resources tasks:
- Monitoring via:
Annual interviews and reviews of team members
Skills management (soft skills and technical skills support)
- Operational HR management
Recruitment management - participation and pre-qualification interview
Staffing strategies
Motivate and support the global team
Administrative responsibilities:
Employees' timekeeping (via ERP) and corrective actions
Control project allocation (ERP)
Help schedule leaves/vacation times and management of HNO requests
Performance management - KPI:
Turnover rate
Expenditure retention rate
Inactivity rate
Rate of contribution to internal industrialization/automation project
Knowledge and experience:
Experience in development with two different languages
Knowledge and practice of Scrum, both as a developer and Scrum Master
Proven knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment), principles including automated testing
Understands the notion of exploit, SLA- Service level agreement
