Our partner's company is a leading software company developing environment, health, and safety solutions for the chemical industry is looking to hire a Full-Stack Web Developer profile to join a rapidly scaling project built by one of the group organizations to track and manage documents and workflow approval. This position requires working closely with an international team based in Belgium to develop and continually improve the functionality of current applications, to provide end-user support, to conduct problem investigations and root cause analysis to resolve functional issues.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience developing web-based applications within an agile environment
- Strong development experience using Angular
- Comfortable working on .NET framework, especially the C# language
- Proficiency in front-end markup and styling
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, Software Design Patterns, and .NET coding principles
- Good knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL) and ORM frameworks
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
- Adaptability to thrive in both individual and team environments
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain clear, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code
- Perform collaborative code reviews to ensure standards of quality and conventions
- Research, evaluate, recommend and implement different solutions to improve the existing product quality and the software development efficiency
- Partner with the Business Analysts and QA testing teams for test case validation and defect remediation
- Effectively manage timelines and expectations
- Communicate clearly and professionally across departments, as needed
