You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting our products and solutions. You will have a lot of contact with employees of the company and manage cases, provide guidance and support on software regarding production issues within our area. Responsible for implementing solutions for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, test and maintain software solutions within your working area
  • Implement improvements of new and existing digital solutions
  • Standardize, automate and simplify new and existing digital solutions
  • Ensure the documentation is accurate and up-to-date throughout the whole process
  • Identify and evaluate innovative and alternative approaches
  • Provide customer-specific solutions
  • Support Lean management
  • Compliance with the company's SOPs
  • Proactive performance tuning regarding input to and develop improvements in the team’s quality and efficiency
  • Stay current and up to date within own technical domain and processes

Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Automation, Computer Science, Informatics or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of hands-on software development experience
  • Visual Basic.Net
  • C#
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Windows Forms
  • JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
  • Strong initiative and quality oriented mind-set
  • Team player, self-motivated, eager to learn and result oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and be able to think outside the box
  • Ability to implement reliable, scalable solutions
  • Analytical mind, proactive, problem solver, independent
  • Ability to work under pressure

Nice to have

  • Experience with process management, SQL and transaction based technologies
  • Engineering qualifications
  • ITIL Certification
  • Knowledge in System Design, Digital Archive handling, OCR data capturing, Business Intelligence – Microsoft Reporting Services, VisualCron, SVN
