Job Summary
Task description:
• Support the service providers on OAT & ORC matters
• Review how the detailed testing will be undertaken, evidenced and reported by the service provider
• Support the test leads in working with the Service Providers on OAT, ORC & Testing matters
• Assure the requirements coverage for both Contractual and Design requirements
• Assure Test completion through witnessing tests and inspecting test results as required
• Review and assure assigned aspects of Non-Functioning testing being undertaken by additional service providers
• Assure BC&DR
• Provide technical support to other areas of the business
• Soft skills used for cross Supplier Triage
• Knowledge of the SDLC
• Industry experience with defect management systems and workflows
• 10 years testing experience, with at least 3 years in a OAT Manager role
• Experience of contributing to an OAT Strategy
• Carry out analysis of test evidence to confirm that established criteria have been met
• Production of routine and ad-hoc reports and timely escalation of issues to the test assurance service manager and test leads (as appropriate)
• Conduct periodic internal audits on projects to ensure compliance
• Act as a gate between Projects, service providers and external audits
• Must be comfortable working in multiple environments within a collaborative team (Software/System Engineers, Project Manager and customers)
• Assurance of Build – Physical checking (that environment is built in accordance with the relevant build document / configuration)
• Review and Assure the project documentations such as but not limited to Design, Support, Training, Processes, Procedures, Work Instructions, Operational Support Material etc.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of OAT experience and proven experience of contributing to an OAT Strategy
• Extensive knowledge on Test Process, SDLC, CCD & Agile delivery & testing methodologies
• Ability to work with various teams in a complex environment and under pressure
• High degree of initiative and flexibility
• A proven background of understanding complex functionality and architectures
• A strong understanding of testing standards and processes and how these can be applied to external clients
• Experience of witnessing tests and inspecting test results
• Previous exposure to test management tools such as HP ALM and JIRA
• Familiarization with Remedy, Incident management system
• Knowledge of Component Testing such as Failover (Component & Network), Failback
• Experience of Security Test Assurance for Penetration Testing and Role Based Access
