Job Summary
Job Role:
We are looking for passionate software engineers looking to build with our partner the future of online events in the metaverse. Our partner’s product is a revolutionary and intuitive metaverse event platform, which harnesses the ideas and creativity of each individual to fuel the power and progress of the collective.
As a software developer, you’ll be working with a team of 3D specialists and other backend developers to build engaging features, connected experiences for users, and a high-quality, cloud-first product. In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in Agile software development and .NET, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Work with other developers to build great product features in accordance with best-in-class coding standards and technical design
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
- Integrate software components and third-party programs
- Ensure unit and integration level verification plans are in place and adheres to great quality of code at all times.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
- Gather and evaluate user feedback
- Recommend and execute technical code improvements
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
- Knowledge of C# and TypeScript coding languages
- Experience building scalable microservices with .NET Core
- Prior experience with WebRTC is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Containers and Kubernetes
- Proven experience with Azure App Services, AKS, Azure AD, and other Azure cloud services
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Excellent English written and verbal skills
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
