Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
- Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system
- Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems
- Work collaboratively with developers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
- System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms
- Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code
- Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
- Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
- Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
- Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
- Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
- Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform
- Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure
- 5+ years of experience in provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments
- experience in DevOps/Software Configuration role
- Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
- Experience in creation of highly automated infrastructures
- Experience running PHP+ mysql+ nginx applications in AWS Fargate
- Monitoring, performance tuning, and management of AWS RDS Aurora.
- Docker and containerization of apps
- Experience writing NodeJS or PHP applications
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS CDK
