The Role:
QuickCheck is seeking to hire a 'hands-on' Senior Software Engineer to join its team in Porto. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products which will change the way people perceive and use technology while enhancing existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale framework, applications using the most recent methodologies and technologies: React, React Native, Python, Django, and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Your Profile:
• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new
functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews
What you will bring along:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
• Experience with Python, Django, and web development
• Comfortable with SQL databases, Git and Linux is a plus
• Knowledgeable about HTML/CSS/AJAX/etc. – Backend
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
