Our partner's company is a leading software company developing environment, health, and safety solutions for the chemical industry is looking to hire a Technical Writer profile to join a rapidly scaling platform dedicated to alleviating the complexities of compliance and quality management. This position requires working closely with an international team to write technical documentation for the application developers and for the end-users.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of working on or closely with software development teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to simplify complex technical systems in writing, and visually with diagrams
- Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products
- Ability to think critically and work through issues with minimal direction/oversight
- Adaptability to thrive in both individual and team environments
Responsibilities:
- Design, write and update user guides and developer documentation
- Work with technical teams to obtain an understanding of products to translate complex product information
into simple and engaging content - Partner with the Business Analysts and QA testing teams for the purpose of reviewing pending user guides and release notes for accuracy
- Interpret information found in various meetings, research, or other content to use for the creation of
procedures and processes - Assist in the organization, editing, and maintaining of other important referential documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally across departments, as needed
