Job Summary

Our partner has been developing software for over 25 years, for the most prominent software companies. Collaboration is key, with the product software company as domain specialist and they as technology specialist.

They are looking for people willing to think independently, take initiative, and be innovative.

Your main goal will be to define the functional steps for their product: a new web application developed from an existing desktop application that is handling a large school management system and is spiced up with a challenging ecosystem. You will work with a great and large team, fully responsible for the technical solution and the product delivery by meeting the agreed quality standards, ready all the time to help each other.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current business functionalities based on the existing application and client-provided information
  • Clarify and refine functionalities with the client’s Product Owner
  • Document and manage functional requirements for the migrated application
  • Document the requirements and translate them into development-ready user stories and provide suggestions for the new application layout structure
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the software development team
  • Provide support to the development team to ensure the correct implementation of requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Experience with requirements management, issue management, or ticketing tools
  • Knowledge of relational databases systems and ability to create data models
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Very good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Able to effectively manage your time
  • Familiar with Agile principles
