Our partner is looking for talented developers for their new Cluj location.
With 10 years experience, they developed a CRM for the Belgian and Spanish market, because of their success they are expanding globally. Therefore Cluj will be one of their most important locations in terms of development. Because of their growth, they offer attractive job openings with possibility to evolve to management positions within the company, nationally and internationally.
They are looking for a junior and a mid-QA that has experience with manual QA but also has a bit of knowledge of automation. The new person will focus more on the manual QA 70% and 30% on automation, in the first few months the focus will be more on manual.
Manual QA responsibilities:
- write and execute test cases to find system bugs;
- conduct exploratory testing;
- conduct regression testing;
- check consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems;
- provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, test estimates, etc.;
- cover test automation tasks.
Manual QA skills:
- deep understanding of software testing, its main concepts, and processes
- ability to work in an Agile environment;
- critical thinking and analytical skills to examine bug reports and prioritize necessary tests;
- ISTQB Certifications is a plus
- good communication and teamwork skills to interact with project team members and stakeholders as well as work closely with the dev team – from reproducing the reported issue and emphasizing the fix for critical bugs to understanding how the bug has been fixed;
- programming skills are always a plus including coding, basic SQL knowledge to extract data for tests, JSON, general web development skills, and RESTful APIs knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with manual testing
QA automation responsibilities:
- Design automated tests, determine priority for test scenarios, and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
- Analyze bug reports and highlight problems to help identify fixes for them.
- Deliver regular bug reports to other members of the development team.
- Collaborate with other members of the development team to find the best methods for solving the reported issues.
QA automation skills:
- Programming skills: JavaScript is a plus, but any language would do
- Basic knowledge of OOP
- Analytical skills: examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests
- Problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills: verbal and written communication skills
- At least one testing framework (ex: cypress, WDIO)
- Minimum 1 year of experience with automated tests
