Job Summary
Their client is a tier one investment bank with offices in more than 40 countries across Europe, Asia and North America. Their company is a major actor in Capital Markets within Equities, Fixed Income, Credit, Forex and Commodities.
Their client is about to start a massive change program in order to create a state of the art position keeping management tool that complies with planned regulatory requirements including FRTB. This initiative will include the decommissioning of legacy financial markets and risk applications currently used by the bank as well as modernizing their Market and Credit Risk engines.
While their client has been developing an externalized pricing architecture for the past 7 years with a view of replacing all major vendor trading applications, starting with Summit, they are now looking to add over 50 resources across the Front Office, Risk and IT departments.
For this reason, the company is currently looking for a talented Java Developer to be a part of the team that is facilitating this program. Their Partners will help with bolstering the client’s development teams in Amsterdam and Brussels with consultants based from our ISO-certified delivery centre in Bucharest with team members co-located in a secure client-specific area.
Requirements
The Developer will have responsibilities including technical analysis and development in Java, as well as producing detailed design documents and conducting unit tests of the system. Furthermore, the candidate will support the technical optimization of the solution, including partial code reviews, and will also support the client’s teams in any other areas where additional attention is needed.
They are looking for a highly motivated full-stack Java Developer with a proven track record in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate will possess technical skills such as proficiency in Java technologies, particularly Java 8, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. In addition, experience with gRPC and Apache Kafka is desirable.
