Tasks:
- Designing and implementing unit tests for Web type applications are your core activities
- Your area of responsibility also consists of analyzing requirements, specifications and implementation to assert functionality
- Your goal is to design, develop and implement comprehensive and well-structured test cases
- You are reporting and recording software discrepancies
- You compare the test results for different implementations of the same software module and identify the root cause for any differences
- You are working with technical staff to determine the best test methods for new software features
- You perform backend testing for RESTful services
- You are scripting work for system validation or profiling
- You always look after documenting implemented test cases
- You are working with custom project tools used in testing the product and for automating test suites
- You are working in accordance with ASPICE standards
- Collaborating with international project teams
Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education
- You have several years of experience in software testing of web applications
- You have experience in working with REST services and Web Sockets
- Ideally, you have knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js, TypeScript and Angular are considered a plus
- You have good working knowledge of MS Office suite
- You speak English very well, and German language is considered a plus
- You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
- You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required
