.Net Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build industry leading innovative software solutions that bring value to our client
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to the project’s success
• Work autonomous to deliver your own technical task
• Provide consultancy for our clients on optimal technical solutions
• Continuously communicate with the client to ensure there is alignment on technical decisions
• Coordinate with client and other vendors to ensure integrations with 3rd party systems are done in the best way

Detailed Responsibilities:

Software Development

• Produce and write clear technical and user documentation as required to support the solutions
• Adhere to high-quality development principles
• Interpret client requirements and understand technical specifications documents
• Develop new features for web applications using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, Vue.js)
• Maintain and test web applications to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Participate in peer code review
• Test all aspects of the developed application in accordance with the defined testing process
• Participate in agile team activities such as daily stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning and retrospective meetings

Communication and problem solving

• Work with project manager and technical leads to identify and clarify requirements
• Offer feedback and propose improvements within the team
• Find alternative or better solutions to the problems you work on
• Provide technical guidance to junior software engineers
• Clearly and regularly communicate with project leads and colleagues
• Review, track and communicate work progress

Innovation, research and development

• Be up to date with new technologies related to your area of expertise
• Be up to date with company best practices and recommendations
• Provide input on your area of expertise mid- and long-term projects that will deliver value to our clients.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as .NET Developer
• Experience with Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Episerver CMS and/or Commerce Certified Developer
• Microsoft Certified Developer
• B.S. in Computer Science or similar
• Experience delivering eCommerce projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented, with exceptional follow-through
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems collaboratively
• Helpful, positive, and constructive attitude
• Team player, strong relationship builder, and motivator
