Founded in 2007, our partner has evolved from a web design studio to a full featured web development company and offers outsourcing solutions to well known UK and US companies. They believe in building teams and have some great teams experienced with various technologies, ranging from PHP (Drupal, Magento, Sympfony, Wordpres, Zend) and .NET to Quality Assurance or SEO.
We are looking for a Magento developer to build and maintain websites and web applications through skill and performance.
You will work on developing a Customer Loyalty Application for industries like Hospitality, Railway or Airlines, while closely collaborating with our clients in UK.
Your Skills
- Hands on experience with Magento (min. 1 yr.)
- Intermediate understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, Modules, API Integration
- Intermediate understanding of MS-SQL and/or MySQL
- Good understanding of OOP principles and designs
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Versioning systems knowledge (GIT)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Nice to have
- eCommerce industry knowledge
- Agile methodology
- JIRA operating knowledge
- Magento Developer Certification
- Degree qualified in Software engineering/Computer science or related degree
