Job Summary
Founded in Switzerland in 1999, our partner specialises in developing an renting premium furnished apartments with service and style. They quickly grew from a start-up to Switzerland's market leader with 8 offices, 200+ employees and an now we offer over 1800 tailored apartments in Berlin, Frankfurt, Lausanne, Warsaw Vienna, Vevey, Zug and Zurich, and soon also in Basel, Zurich Glattbrugg and Geneva. They are expanding in Switzerland and abroad with primary focus on German-speaking countries. To enhance their global presence, our partner also cooperates with select partner companies in a service apartment network which currently includes over 130.000 accommodations in more than 850 business destinations worldwide.
Your tasks:
- Develop and maintain our IT Innovation projects: e-commerce, market place, booking and financial engine (Java 8, Spring, Eclipse, Tomcat, Hibernate, PostgreSQL)
- Discuss Technical requirements
- Assist in set up of continuous integration and deployment of our systems
- Participate in SCRUM / SAFe meetings, plans and demos
We expect:
- 4 years of development experience in JAVA
- Knowledge of Java 8
- Experience with Spring, Tomcat, Linux, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, REST Services
- Experience with Git/ SVN/ Mercurial/ Maven / Ansible or similar
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, React, Jenkins or Bamboo
- Good English skills
- Positive, team player with a can-do attitude
- Analytical skills, able to see any problems as challenges and willingness to search for solutions together with the team
- Dedication to create innovative and maintainable product
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Able to work independently
